Wall Street edged higher in a volatile morning session on Wednesday as
industrial stocks gained on strong results from some marquee companies and a
jump in oil prices boosted energy stocks.  .N 
    At 11:08 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.08 percent at
24,805.57. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.38 percent at 2,716.71 and the Nasdaq
